The fund serves as an incubator and investment partner to seed-stage, for-profit social ventures. Presumed Abundance is comprised of Kim Scheinberg and Rafe Furst, two prominent angel investors, and is committed to changing the way angels invest in social enterprise. Instead of investing to get a return, Kim and Rafe invest with the goal of "funding it forward'. Successful investees are expected to recycle the returns they would otherwise give to Presumed Abundance by making an equivalent investment is a socially-conscious business.
